LAWFUL NEUTRAL PARAGON (JUDGE)

A judge abides by a strict code of behaviour, based on law, tradition or belief. He applies this code at all times, and believes that no one is above or below it. A judge believes that order and authority are paramount; law is an absolute necessity to maintain a peaceful society. When he witnesses a crime being committed, he does not hesitate to mete out an appropriate punishment.

A judge assumes the leadership role, whether or not is granted to him. He believes there is one right way to do things, and that this one way must be followed at all times. A judge does not make exceptions.

In battle, a judge is decisive and relentless. He does not hesitate to attack those that should be attacked. He prefers to fight the strongest opponents personally, and let others deal with the lesser threats to the law. A judge fights fairly and with honour, and does not resort to underhanded tricks. A judge makes the best character because of his unwavering commitment to justice.

Wrath of the Righteous (Ex): When attacking someone he knows (through either magical or mundane means) to be guilty of a crime or offence, a judge receives a bonus to attack equal to his Charisma bonus (minimum of +1), and a bonus to damage equal to his class level.

Zone of Truth (Sp): At 2nd level, a judge can use zone of truth once per day per class level, as the spell. Lies conceal the guilty.

Word of Law (Ex): At 4th level, a judge is able to influence the behaviour of other lawful creatures through his words. The target creature must be able to hear the judge, and understand his words. By invoking the rules of law, the judge can suggest a course of action to the creature. The course of action suggested must indeed be lawful, or else there is no effect. The target must make a Will save (DC 15 + judge's class level + Wisdom modifier) or else suffer the effects of a suggestion spell, with a duration equal to two hours per class level. Note that while this ability creates the effects of a suggestion spell, it is not itself a spell-like ability.

A judge can invoke the word of law a number of times per day equal to his Wisdom modifier, if positive (minimum once per day).

Discern Lies (Sp): At 5th level, a judge can use discern lies once per day, as the spell.
