USING THE ASHMALKIN WIZARD NPC TABLE

This table provides all the information about a typical elite ashmalkin wizard that will be necessary to quickly introduce them as a non-player character in your game. (As a player character, this wizard may need additional equipment to match the standard wealth for a character of the appropriate level.)

Starting Ability Scores This ashmalkin has the elite array of scores, arranged in the way most advantageous for wizardry.
Increased Ability Scores The ashmalkin’s abilities increase by one point every four levels, and as the wizard gains magic items; increases due to the latter are in parentheses.
Melee and Ranged This ashmalkin is equipped with standard weapons for a wizard. The listed values for attack bonus and damage include all bonuses from ability scores, items, etc.
F/R/W The ashmalkin’s Fortitude, Reflex, and Will saving throws, including all bonuses due to class, race, and abilities.
Skill Points/Feats At each level, this wizard may spend a total number of points on skills equal to the listed value. The number of feats provided includes the wizard’s choice of bonus feats at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20; this character also has the Scribe Scroll and Mounted Combat feats at first level, as bonuses from class and race.
Spells Per Day The number of spells available to this wizard, listed in order of level. At 4th level, for example, four 0-level spells, three 1st-level spells, and two 2nd-level spells may be cast.
