Bret Boyd

First appeared in the industry after winning a contest sponsored by Mystic Eye Games in 2001. He went on to contribute heavily to that company’s Foul Locales line of books and to help pen the fi rst published adventure for the Dragonstar campaign setting Raw Recruits). Since that time, he has freelanced for too many companies to mention here. Bret’s most recently published book is Temporality by Dark Quest Games. Today, Bret and his brother Scot are the brains powering Tricky Owlbear Publishing, Inc., where the Behind the Spells series continues in PDF form along with its sister series Behind the Monsters and numerous other gaming goodies.
