AEGIRE CLASS LEVELS
An aegire may choose to take up to three levels in the aegire class in place of normal class advancement.
Hit Die: 1d8
Class Skills: The aegire’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Spot (Wis), Search (Int), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Hide (Dex), Knowledge (nature) (Int), and Survival (Wis).
Skill Points at 1st Character Level: (2 + Int modifier) x 4
Skill Points at Higher Levels: 2 + Int modifier
CLASS FEATURES
All of the following are aegire class features.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Aegire are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, all light armor and shields (except tower shields).
Concealment Miss Reduction (Ex): Honing the skills necessary to hunt submerged creatures gives an aegire greater accuracy in striking concealed creatures. Beginning at 1st level, when an aegire attacks a concealed creature, the creature’s concealment is considered a number of levels lower equal to the aegire’s ranks in concealment miss reduction. This only applies when calculating the miss percentage of the aegire’s attack.
Heavy Water Stride (Ex): At 3rd level, an aegire has learned how to most effectively distribute her weight on viscous surfaces. She is able to move across viscous surfaces even with heavy encumbrance.
Medium Water Stride (Ex): At 1st level, an aegire has learned how to distribute her weight more effectively on viscous surfaces. She is able to move across viscous surfaces even with medium encumbrance.
Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 3rd level, an aegire becomes adept at dodging attacks from any direction. She retains her dexterity bonus to AC (if any) even if she is caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. However, she still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. If she already has Uncanny Dodge from a different class, she automatically gains improved uncanny dodge for free.
Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex): The aegire can no longer be flanked. This defense denies a rogue the ability to sneak attack the aegire by flanking her, unless the attacker has at least four more rogue
levels than the target aegire has.
