Arterial Bleeding [Critical]
Your critical strike slices open a major artery.
Prerequisites: Int 13, special ability (crippling strike), Combat Expertise, Improved Critical (slashing), Weapon Focus (slashing)
Benefit: Upon confirmation of a critical hit, you may forgo the additional damage in favor of slicing open one of your opponent’s major arteries. The target makes a Fort save (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Str Modifier). Failure indicates your opponent suffers 1d2 Constitution points of damage per round as a result of massive blood loss. Any cure serious wounds or greater healing spell will close the wound. This feat only works against humanoid or monstrous humanoid targets of one size category smaller than, equal to, or one size larger than the character.
