Back Breaker [Critical]
Your critical strike severs the spinal cord of your enemy on a flanking attack.
Prerequisites: Str 16, Improved Critical, Improved Sunder, Power Attack, Weapon Focus
Benefit: Upon confirmation of a critical hit as a result of a flanking attack, you may forgo the additional damage in favor of crushing or severing the victim’s spinal cord. The target makes a Fort save (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Str Modifier). Failure results in the target being paralyzed from the waist down. The target is prone and movement is reduced to zero. The target’s mobility may be restored by heal or regenerate spells. If the target succeeds on the Fortitude save, he takes normal damage and movement is reduced by 5 ft. for 1d8 rounds. This feat only works against any creature of a size no more than one category larger than you. The creature must have a spinal cord.
