Eye Shot [Critical]
Your critical strike with an arrow or bolt blinds an opponent.
Prerequisites: Dex 19, base attack bonus+12, must be an elf, Far Shot, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Weapon Focus (bow or crossbow), Weapon Specialization (bow or crossbow)
Benefit: Upon confirmation of a critical hit with a bow or crossbow, you may forgo the additional damage to have your arrow or bolt pierce the eye of an opponent. Your opponent must make a Reflex save DC (15 + Dex modifier) to avoid permanent eye loss. If your opponent successfully saves against the attack they are dazzled for 1d4 rounds, and if unsuccessful they permanently lose the use of that eye.
Loss of a single eye means the opponent suffers a -4 penalty on all Spot checks, lose their Dex modifier to armor class and a -8 penalty to all ranged combat beyond 30 ft. and cannot make ranged attacks at opponents further than 90 ft. Additionally, if the opponent had any extraordinary, spell-like or supernatural abilities linked to the eye they no longer function. A regenerate or heal spell can be used to restore the opponent’s eye. Obviously, if your opponent does not have eyes this feat does not affect them.
