Slice Tendon [Critical]
Your critical strike severs the tendons on one of your opponent’s arms.
Prerequisites: Int 13+, Base Attack Bonus +8, special ability (crippling strike), Combat Expertise, Improved Critical (slashing weapons), Weapon Focus (slashing weapons)
Benefit: Upon confirmation of a critical hit you may forgo the additional damage in favor of slicing a major tendon of one of your opponent’s arms. The target makes a Fort save (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Str Modifier). Failure indicates your opponent loses the use of an arm and suffer a -8 penalty to all Strength related checks until healed. Choose which arm is affected:
Offhand/shield arm: The target loses her shield bonus.
Primary hand: The target may not attack with weapons in her main hand. She can only use one-handed weapons in her off hand, and suffers the standard -4 penalty for using weapons in her off-hand unless she has the Two Weapon Fighting feat.
This feat only works against humanoid or monstrous humanoids of a size category not more than one size larger than you. A sliced tendon can be healed with a heal or regenerate spell.
