Hippocampus Boots: These magical boots are made from the tail fins of a mature hippocampus. Once harvested and properly fashioned the boots allow the wearer to swim at speeds of 60 ft. per round. When immersed in more than 1 foot of water the boots actually transform the wearer’s feet into flippers. They grant a +8 competence bonus to Swim checks to avoid hazards underwater and provide a +4 bonus to Hide while underwater. The wearer can swim three times per day for 10 minutes each time.

*If you do not have a hippocampus tail to make these boots, you may substitute lesser materials but the duration of swimming is reduced from 10 minutes to 5 minutes.
